Oliver Twist
today went to watch "oliver twist" at TM...
cinema did not open until it was 10:30 plus...
show time: 10:40am
ticket price: $7
snacks: $2 (from supermarket at B1)
we (manling and i) was one of the first few. no instead is first 4 and 5. should ve bought a harry potter ticket, as the first 20 of the day at any GV would get a harry potter note bk... waste the trip there... okay, went into the movie and and the whole cinema was only we two, three foreigners and a couple... just only 2+3+2=7 people in the cinema watching Oliver Twist at the timeshlot 10:40. how nice... anyway did not bring sweater and inside was FREEZING!!! wat's more was that the movie lasted for 2 hours plus!!!
movie was about a boy called Oliver Twist - acted by Barney Clark - , he's an orphan (duh), ill treated in the place he's currently staying at and escaped to england met this pickpocketer who introduced him to his gang of pickpockets. then come Mr. Brownlow rescued him from the gang and gave him a nice house to stay. then on one day when he ran trip the the bookstore, he got caught by the gang and had to go back with them. then this day, they decided to break into Mr. Brownlow's house... [fastforward] oliver twist got shot in the arm. and Mr Brownlow saw it but they escaped... [fastforward] Bill the bad guy died -he hung imself- and the mastermind of the gang arrested. Oliver Twist lived with Mr. Brownlow from then on and happy ever after

after movie, we went to shop around TM. saw alot of beaded-necklect sold at $5!!! hey, $5 you know... alot of diff design... saw a few i like and bought one. and there was another one at $6... but she kept telling me that i already bought one, dont buy... now while i m typing this, i still feel a little regret...

wednesday FLASHBLACK>>>
went to library and borrowed some books. jus before heading to the counter to borrow, went to e children section and see if i m lucky enough to find Harry Potter (6th bk) ... and just enough lick, i found it!!!!it was at the corner of the shelf!!! together with e 4th bk (GOF)... next, borrowed all e bks selected and headed straight home, feelin lucky... for the rest of that day, i found myself reading that bk. read till 1.30am in e morning then went to sleep...
next day, still readin. very interesting plot i must say, i urge u readers to buy/borrow harry potter and the half blood prince bk (nah, jus kiddin)
then, jus today, i finished e bk!!! at 3:30pm sharp ;]
summary of bk:
dumbledore got murdered by Snape Severus :[ and Snape is e half-blood prince

OF course, i thank my mum for the guitar. and the journey home as perfect. oh, btw, i spotted the score[[A Moment Like This]] sang by KELLY CLARKSTON. wanted to buy that bk, but, nvm, already spent so much today, jus save a little more then come n buy next time..... so went out of the store.
okay, e trip on the bus as irritating. so SIAO person came up to the bus and started talking LOUDLY to himself in dialect saying: 'if u dont work, how would u get $$ to eat rice... if no $$ eat wat? jia sai (eat shit) lah!'
and he keep saying this.... after like 1/2 (still ve not get off the bus) then he SHUT his mouth up [ah finally...]
then he alighted....
journey home was pleasing, satisfying, and WONDERFUL. this was the best bus trip with my mum...
