YESTERDAY:
immediately after the exam (chem pp1) rushed home. bathe, suft net and when out for movie!!! to celebrate that exams are over :)
watched SPIDERMAN 3 with huizhen and ml. the movie was (one word to describe) --PERFECT--- expect it was marred by a little "incident" there at The Cathay. let me give you the details.......
okay, it was a purrfect day after exams. reached cathay at abt 2pm plus. the show starts ard 2.30... got e tix and seated. started screen a few trailers.
okay, i got to admit, Johnny Depp is so cool plus hot!!!!!!!! and chow yun fat said the line "WELCOME TO SINGAPORE" oh, my this is so fab. best part was Orlando Bloom still handsome as usual....
then came the movie. PURPOSELY went all the way to the cathay to watch spiderman in 4K resolution. (plus read in Digital Life that if you watch it in 4K, you could see every singel grain of sand from the snadman.)
halfway thru the movie when the "sandman" haven even appear, the screen hang and went blank. infuriating! jus at that moment, huizhen whispered "ooops". at first i thought i was the climax so there was a blank screen.... as it turned out, the whole thing cant work. the person incharged came, thought that he would say something like i apologise for the inconvience caoused and it would be nice if you would kindly accept a refund tix at the counter when you make your way out.
UNFORTUNATELY, it did not turn out that way. he said since the movie cant be screened in 4K, it will be played in the 3plus K or something ard there one. the worst part was, they cant continue from where it stopped previously as it was not the 4K one. idiot. watched all over again. sat there for 3 plus hrs -.-
plus, they did not show the pirates of caribbean trailer again!!!! thought they would screen the trailer :( orlando blooms is so shuai can!!! okok.... the movie is very nice :) ended the whole spiderman nicely. hz was so funny, she kept thinking of Phantom of Opera while watching the movie... tsk tsk tsk....
after met jess at clementi so to go UCC (at NUS). poor jess, waited for us for more than 1 hr. cos ml told her to met at 5pm. and the movie ended late as you can see. so we were late too..
ate kfc and took bus 96 to UCC. did not know where to alight, so when we saw everyone alight, i mean youngsters, we dropped off too.. lol. like monkey see monkey do...
finally made it there. watched sng concert. actually it was pri and secondary one... well, their concert was also very nice too :] espically the dance, both contemporary and chinese one..
michelle you was great too!!!
dancers' movement and steps were very synchronise. the chinese dance one is so much better than our sch. chi orch quite broing the song though, string orch had encore, eldds very interesting, but still preferred our school one. heard their pri sch guzheng played. those kids were very cute... but their costume kinda funny. ornage with purple skirt. lol. plus brown guzheng. i think they did very well too, but some did not sway and the way they played wasnt as good as our school one. (no feeling etc.)
there was also theis little pri 3 girl who has the same name as jess. she played the violin so well, it made me had this urgeof wanting to learn violin. seriously, i am thinking of learning one more instrument, either guitar or violin.who happens to know how to play can teach me?? i really really want to learn guitar/violin....
choir sang melodiously. specially like their sakura sukura. super nice lah! the first part made my hair stood up. spooky feeling. love that one best. jess said her junior was there too.. anyway, saw michelle and passed her the flower and went back. it was tired day for everyone...
fell asleep immediately...
today:
finally got my 10 hours = 600 mins = 36 000 sec of sleep since the 1 209 600 sec of torture...
actually wanted to get a new phone, but when to singtel too late and the queue was too long and had to rush off for tuition. so got the queue no, but gave up on waiting. made it to tuition promptly :) yay!! then during tuition, my teacher argued that when we breathe in, our diaphragm expands. (actually cannot use the term "expands" should say relax. cos that day wrote it for bio test then she put a cross over the word "expands" and one mark taken away from the qn) then i explained the whole breathing thing again. but he still believed that diaphragm "expands". i think he got a misconception that lungs = diaphragm... unforutnately, lungs NOT EQUALS to diaphragm. the that causes the upward, outward movement of our ribcage is the intercoastal muscles, diaphragm is jus below them. so as a result it flattens so air can fill the lungs blah blah blah..... okok, end of discussion.
came home and watched 200 Pounds Beauty..... hmmmmmmmmm.....
i know what are all of you asking. i thought screening in cinema right, how come you got the disc, muhahaha.... dont tell you. i did not watch from a disc anyway. this got to thank jess for telling me where to watch... haha.....

these few days, my suspensory ligaments very slack.
you might be wondering what's suspenosry ligamentis. it actually holds your lens in place so it can change it's thickness and focus on object near/far. as you can see, when we look at near object, our ciliary muscle contacts, suspensory ligament slackens and lens become more convex. this is called accomodation. that two stuff controls the lens curvature.
explained that to xiying today and she understood and said she should ve taken bio... haha. bio rocks man. but the midyr one sucks. so much applicant qn. ms kok gave us tips on like which topic will come out for the pp2, and guessed what, the topic given as according to the qn set, so the last few was the essay qn!!!!! luckily, studied some of them.
eg, i spotted genetic engineering, inheritance, homeostatis.... they all came out. hz, remember the glycogen to glucose thingy, glucagon hormones produced by pancreas!! came out leh!! gotta thank me wor :] okok. exams over liao... yuppiieee

YOUR HOLIDAY WILL ARRIVE VERY SOON :D all you need is to be discipline... last yr when we take that time, the sch also did not like this prepare us can. only lke a one/two wks before the exam then start a bit of revision, what's more only like 2 hrs each session nia.... so all of you very lucky you know. treasure this opportunity cos we dont even have it.
